Website badge and copy alerts
Know the moment someone copies your website
Add one small line of code to your event website. It shows visitors a badge saying they’re on the real site, and it tells us straight away if a copy of your site appears at another address.
The problem
Copying a website takes minutes
A scammer can copy your entire event website, ticket page and all, onto a lookalike address in a few minutes. It looks identical, because it is identical, except for where the money goes.
Your visitors can’t tell the difference, and you won’t hear about it until someone complains.
How it works
4 simple steps
Copy one line of code
From your portal. Your web person adds it once.
Your site shows a badge
Visitors see they’re on the official site.
Copies are spotted
If your site turns up somewhere else, we’re told.
You’re alerted
With the address, ready to check and report.
A badge your visitors can trust
The badge sits in your site’s footer and only shows on your real addresses. Clicking it confirms the site belongs to your event, which gives visitors a simple way to check before they pay.
- One line of code, added once
- Works with any website builder
- Proves your site is yours, which helps your score
Copies flagged straight to you
When a copy of your site appears at another address, it lands in your Fake websites list with a screenshot, ready for you to decide and report. You don’t have to wait for a customer to stumble across it.
- Alerts as soon as a copy is spotted
- Screenshot and evidence pack included
- Report it in a few clicks
The ticket page
Two days after early-bird tickets open, the organiser gets an alert: their ticket page has appeared on an address with an extra word in it. The screenshot shows a cheaper “group rate”. They mark it as a scam and send the reports before lunch.
Questions people ask
Will it slow down my website?
No. It’s a tiny piece of code that loads after the page.
Which website builders does it work with?
Any that lets you add a snippet of code: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, HubSpot and custom sites.
Does it collect data about my visitors?
It isn’t there to track people. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we collect and why.
