How it works

Five steps between a scammer and your exhibitors

SummitShield works quietly in the background. Here’s what happens, from the afternoon you set it up to the day a scam gets switched off.

1

Set up

Tell us what’s really yours

2

Share

Give people a way to check

3

Watch

We keep an eye out

4

Decide

You answer the hard ones

5

Act

Get it switched off

Step 1: Set up

Tell us what’s really yours

Add your event and prove your domain is yours (we walk you through it). Then list your official email addresses, websites, phone numbers, bank accounts and suppliers. That’s what everything else is checked against.

  • A guided protection plan from the start
  • Your official suppliers, so their emails aren’t doubted
  • A score that shows how protected you are

Step 2: Share

Give people a way to check

Your event gets a check page and a check address. Put them in your exhibitor manual, joining instructions and email footers. Stamp your important emails, and add the badge to your website.

  • A check page at a simple web address
  • A check address anyone can forward to
  • Stamps and a website badge for your real communication

Step 3: Watch

We keep an eye out

Every day we look for websites copying you, watch your planted contacts, and look out for scams confirmed at other events. Every report people send is checked by our own rules and read by AI for scam and phishing tactics. You don’t need to do anything until something needs you.

  • Fake websites found and photographed
  • Reports read by AI for scam and phishing tactics
  • Leaked lists traced to their source
  • Scams from other events recognised

Step 4: Decide

You answer the hard ones

Most checks are settled automatically. When we can’t tell, we ask you in your Messages, in plain words, and pass your answer to whoever asked, and to everyone who checks the same thing after them.

  • A short list of things that need you
  • One click: scam, genuine or not about you
  • Your answer goes straight back to people

Step 5: Act

Get it switched off

For a confirmed scam, we find who it relies on and AI drafts the reports for you to check. For a fake website, the evidence pack is ready. And when something’s doing the rounds, one click gives you a warning email for your exhibitors.

  • Reports drafted for you to check and send
  • Evidence packs for fake sites
  • A ready-made warning for your exhibitors

Quick Stamp: protection in two clicks

Most of SummitShield runs quietly in the background. The part your team touches every day is the Quick Stamp app. It sits on their computer or phone, stamps an important email before it goes, and takes a scam from their own inbox straight to you.

  • Make a stamp and copy it into your email
  • Drag in or paste a scam that reached you directly
  • Installs from the browser on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android

What SummitShield is

What you can count on it for.

  • An early warning when someone is using your name
  • A quick, reliable way for people to check what’s really yours
  • Sensible protection for your domain and website, in plain words
  • Help getting scams switched off at the source

What it isn’t

So everyone knows where they stand.

  • A guarantee that no scam will ever happen. No one can promise that.
  • A replacement for common sense: always check new bank details by phone
  • Legal advice or a legal service
  • Something your exhibitors have to install

Questions people ask

Do exhibitors need to sign up?

No. Your check page and check address work for anyone, with no account and nothing to install.

Does it work with my email and website?

Yes. It works with any email system, any newsletter tool and any website builder.

How much of my time does it take?

An afternoon to set up. After that, a few minutes when something needs your decision. Most organisers find they answer far fewer “is this you?” emails than before.

How do your checks work?

We compare what people send us with what you’ve told us is yours and with scams confirmed across the events we protect, and AI reads each report for scam and phishing tactics. We don’t publish the details, because scammers read websites too.

Does AI decide whether something is a scam?

No. AI is a second pair of eyes: it spots tactics and explains them, and its findings are always marked. Our own checks make the final call, and anything we can’t settle goes to you.
